ANEB as an internship site
The Quebec Association for Assistance to Persons Suffering from Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia offers you the possibility of using our organization as a site for your internship. You will have the chance to work with individuals suffering from eating disorders and with their families and friends.
Our site will allow you to develop skills in the following areas: observation, organization, facilitation, active listening. In addition, you will have the chance to put your theoretical knowledge to use by facilitating support groups, responding to our telephone line, and presenting conferences.
As your internship placement site, ANEB offers you:
- Specific training in the area of eating disorders and telephone intervention.
- Weekly clinical supervision.
We can also collaborate with you if you are conducting a Masters or Doctoral thesis in the area of eating disorders.
