Become a volunteer at ANEB Quebec.
The Quebec Association for Assistance to Persons Suffering from Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia is looking for volunteer workers to fill various positions within the organization. A few hours per week of volunteering can make a huge difference to individuals who are touched directly or indirectly by an eating disorder. Come and join us! We are waiting for your call. We will be happy to provide you with further information and to answer any questions that you may have.
- Support Group Leaders -
We are currently looking for people to facilitate closed support groups for people suffering from an eating disorder.
You must be empathic, have basic counselling skills, and have good active listening and group animation skills. You must be available a minimum of one evening per week from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., as well as on Friday afternoons.
As a volunteer, ANEB will provide you with specific training in the area of eating disorders as well as weekly clinical supervision.

- Help and Referral Line -
We are currently looking for people willing to donate their time to our telephone help and referral line.
You must be bilingual, empathic, have good active listening skills, and be available in the evenings or on weekends.
As a volunteer, ANEB will provide you with specific training in the area of eating disorders and telephone intervention, as well as regular follow-up with a supervisor.
